Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Senza titolo by Mario Schifano was sold in the 20th/21st Century Milan Online Sale auction at Christies in Milan in December this year. The price achieved of EUR 44,100.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 35,000.00 – 50,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Mario Schifano achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work La Stanza Dei Disegni in October last year with an auction result of EUR 1,302,000.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Senza titolo von Mario Schifano wurde im Dezember diesen Jahres in der Auktion 20th/21st Century Milan Online Sale bei Christies in Mailand versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 44.100,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 35.000,00 – 50.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Mario Schifano erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit La Stanza Dei Disegni im Oktober letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 1.302.000,00.
