Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Parrot tulips, chrysanthemums, a thistle, and other flowers in a vase on a stone ledge by Mario Nuzzi was auctioned at Christies in London in April 2000. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 10,000.00 – 15,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 10,575.00 (€ 18,103.97) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Mario Nuzzi achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Tulips, roses, daffodils, a carnation, a poppy, anemone, jasmine, morning glory and other flowers in a sculpted urn, on a stone ledge in April 2007 with an auction result of USD 336,000.00 (€ 245,973.65).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Parrot tulips, chrysanthemums, a thistle, and other flowers in a vase on a stone ledge von Mario Nuzzi kam im April 2000 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 10.000,00 – 15.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 10.575,00 (€ 18.103,97) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Mario Nuzzi erzielen.
