Auction result well in line with expectations

The price achieved of GBP 69,750.00 (€ 111,111.13) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 60,000.00 – 80,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Mario Nuzzi - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Tulips, roses, daffodils, a carnation, a poppy, anemone, jasmine, morning glory and other flowers in a sculpted urn, on a stone ledge, which sold at auction in April 2007 for USD 336,000.00 (€ 245,973.65).
