Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Mario Negri could be acquired at Christies in New York in April 2015 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Interiors auction, the work Untitled (seated nude) changed hands for USD 625.00 (€ 559.94) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Mario Negri achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Tutta una vita insieme in June 2018 with an auction result of EUR 42,000.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Mario Negri konnte im April 2015 bei Christies in New York für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Interiors wechselte die Arbeit Untitled (seated nude) für USD 625,00 (€ 559,94) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 3.000,00 – 5.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Mario Negri erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Tutta una vita insieme im Juni 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 42.000,00.
