A top price for Mário Macilau - as previously expected
The work Cercle De Mémoires by Mário Macilau was auctioned at Artcurial in Paris in June 2021. It changed hands for a price of EUR 19,500.00 achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of EUR 16,000.00 – 20,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Cercle De Mémoires is the most expensive artwork by Mário Macilau that we have observed at auctions so far.

Die Arbeit Cercle De Mémoires von Mário Macilau kam im Juni 2021 bei Artcurial in Paris zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von EUR 19.500,00 den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 16.000,00 – 20.000,00. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Cercle De Mémoires das teuerste Kunstwerk von Mário Macilau, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
