Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Portrait Bust of Andrée Clark (1902-1919) by Mario Joseph Korbel was sold in the An American Dynasty: The Clark Family Treasures auction at Christies in New York in June 2014. Here, the upper estimate of USD 1,200.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 1,250.00 (€ 913.08). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Mario Joseph Korbel achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work 'Andante' (Dancing Girls) in September 2012 with an auction result of USD 62,500.00 (€ 48,615.43).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Portrait Bust of Andrée Clark (1902-1919) von Mario Joseph Korbel wurde im Juni 2014 in der Auktion An American Dynasty: The Clark Family Treasures bei Christies in New York versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 1.200,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 1.250,00 (€ 913,08) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Mario Joseph Korbel erzielen.
