Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In June 2014 Christies in New York held the auction An American Dynasty: The Clark Family Treasures, which included the work Mother and Child, seated by Mario Joseph Korbel. Here, the upper estimate of USD 1,500.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 1,625.00 (€ 1,187.00). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Mario Joseph Korbel achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work 'Andante' (Dancing Girls) in September 2012 with an auction result of USD 62,500.00 (€ 48,615.43).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Juni 2014 führte Christies in New York die Auktion An American Dynasty: The Clark Family Treasures durch, in der auch die Arbeit Mother and Child, seated von Mario Joseph Korbel zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 1.500,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 1.625,00 (€ 1.187,00) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Mario Joseph Korbel erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit 'Andante' (Dancing Girls) im September 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 62.500,00 (€ 48.615,43).
