Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Mario Giacomelli could be acquired at Il Ponte in July 2020 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Fotografia auction, the work Barca 1980 ca. changed hands for EUR 250.00 - missing the lower end of the estimate range of EUR 300.00 – 600.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Mario Giacomelli achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Selected Images in October 2007 with an auction result of USD 25,000.00 (€ 17,279.51).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Mario Giacomelli konnte im Juli 2020 bei Il Ponte für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Fotografia wechselte die Arbeit Barca 1980 ca. für EUR 250,00 den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 300,00 – 600,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Mario Giacomelli erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Selected Images im Oktober 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 25.000,00 (€ 17.279,51).
