In July 2021 Grisebach held the auction Online Only 2020/2021 - Photography Online Only 18.6.-4.7.21, which included the work Aus der Serie „Storie di Terra“. by Mario Giacomelli. It changed hands for a price of EUR 1,875.00 achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of EUR 1,500.00 – 2,000.00. Admittedly, works by Mario Giacomelli have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Selected Images in October 2007 with an auction result of USD 25,000.00 (€ 17,279.51).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juli 2021 führte Grisebach die Auktion Online Only 2020/2021 - Photography Online Only 18.6.-4.7.21 durch, in der auch die Arbeit Aus der Serie „Storie di Terra“. von Mario Giacomelli zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von EUR 1.875,00 den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 1.500,00 – 2.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Mario Giacomelli auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Selected Images im Oktober 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 25.000,00 (€ 17.279,51).
