Auction result misses estimated price range
In December 2021 a collector was able to acquire this work without title by Mario Díaz Bencomo for USD 1,134.00 (€ 1,001.94). This price was achieved in the auction Contemporary Art | New York at Sothebys in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 2,000.00 – 3,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Mario Díaz Bencomo achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work without title in November 2014 with an auction result of USD 12,500.00 (€ 10,049.85).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Dezember 2021 konnte ein Sammler diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Mario Díaz Bencomo für USD 1.134,00 (€ 1.001,94) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Contemporary Art | New York bei Sothebys in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 2.000,00 – 3.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Mario Díaz Bencomo erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit ohne Titel im November 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 12.500,00 (€ 10.049,85).
