In the A Life Among Artists: Contemporary Photographs from an Esteemed Private Collection auction, the work Portrait with Scorpion (Open Eyes) sold for USD 47,880.00 (€ 41,357.86) - well above the upper estimate of USD 25,000.00. Admittedly, works by Marina Abramović have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The Life in October 2020 with an auction result of GBP 287,500.00 (€ 319,244.23).
