Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Mother and Children by Maria Marevna was sold in the Russian Pictures auction at Sothebys in London in June 2021. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 13,860.00 (€ 16,150.50), 16% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Maria Marevna have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Reclining Nude in November 2021 with an auction result of GBP 94,500.00 (€ 110,951.89).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Mother and Children von Maria Marevna wurde im Juni 2021 in der Auktion Russian Pictures bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 13.860,00 (€ 16.150,50) und damit 16% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Maria Marevna auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Reclining Nude im November 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 94.500,00 (€ 110.951,89).
