Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Portrait Of Marika by Maria Marevna was auctioned at Sothebys in London in November 2018. The price achieved of GBP 6,000.00 (€ 6,767.82) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Maria Marevna achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Reclining Nude in November 2021 with an auction result of GBP 94,500.00 (€ 110,951.89).

Die Arbeit Portrait Of Marika von Maria Marevna kam im November 2018 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 6.000,00 (€ 6.767,82) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 5.000,00 – 7.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Maria Marevna erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Reclining Nude im November 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 94.500,00 (€ 110.951,89).
