Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2020 Christies in London held the auction Russian Art, which included the work Mané-Katz by Maria Marevna. The price achieved of GBP 62,500.00 (€ 69,771.09) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 50,000.00 – 70,000.00. Other works by Maria Marevna have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in November 2021 the work Reclining Nude was auctioned for GBP 94,500.00 (€ 110,951.89).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November 2020 führte Christies in London die Auktion Russian Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Mané-Katz von Maria Marevna zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 62.500,00 (€ 69.771,09) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 50.000,00 – 70.000,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von Maria Marevna konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im November 2021 die Arbeit Reclining Nude für GBP 94.500,00 (€ 110.951,89) versteigert.
