The price achieved of GBP 2,400 (€ 3,564) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been given by the auction house as GBP 2,000 - 3,000. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Marie-Thérèse de Noireterre - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work , which sold at auction in July 2018 for GBP 8,750 (€ 9,811).
