Sold at the lower estimate price
In December 2018 Sothebys in New York held the auction Impressionist & Modern Art Online, which included the work Caridad Del Cobre (Virgen, Santa Bárbara) by Mariano Rodríguez. The result of USD 20,000.00 (€ 17,458.10) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of USD 20,000.00 – 30,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Mariano Rodríguez achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Pelea de gallos in November 2016 with an auction result of USD 1,087,500.00 (€ 1,028,077.14).
Zuschlag beim unteren Schätzpreis
Im Dezember 2018 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion Impressionist & Modern Art Online durch, in der auch die Arbeit Caridad Del Cobre (Virgen, Santa Bárbara) von Mariano Rodríguez zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von USD 20.000,00 (€ 17.458,10) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 20.000,00 – 30.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Mariano Rodríguez erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Pelea de gallos im November 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 1.087.500,00 (€ 1.028.077,14).
