Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Spanish calle In Un Pueblo (Village Street Scene) by Mariano Barbasán Lagueruela was auctioned at Sothebys in London in June 2010. The price achieved of GBP 18,750.00 (€ 22,801.75) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 15,000.00 – 25,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Mariano Barbasán Lagueruela - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work La Cata (Wine Tasting), which sold at auction in November 2007 for GBP 50,900.00 (€ 71,273.17).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Spanish calle In Un Pueblo (Village Street Scene) von Mariano Barbasán Lagueruela kam im Juni 2010 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 18.750,00 (€ 22.801,75) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 15.000,00 – 25.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Mariano Barbasán Lagueruela mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit La Cata (Wine Tasting) beobachtet, die im November 2007 für GBP 50.900,00 (€ 71.273,17) versteigert wurde.
