Auction result misses estimated price range
In September 2012 a collector was able to acquire the work Battle of Guadalete, Spain (711-712 AD) by Mariano Barbasán Lagueruela for GBP 5,625.00 (€ 7,058.38). This price was achieved in the auction 19th Century European Art Including Orientalist Art at Christies in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 6,000.00 – 8,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Mariano Barbasán Lagueruela achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work La Cata (Wine Tasting) in November 2007 with an auction result of GBP 50,900.00 (€ 71,273.17).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im September 2012 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Battle of Guadalete, Spain (711-712 AD) von Mariano Barbasán Lagueruela für GBP 5.625,00 (€ 7.058,38) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion 19th Century European Art Including Orientalist Art bei Christies in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 6.000,00 – 8.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Mariano Barbasán Lagueruela erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit La Cata (Wine Tasting) im November 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 50.900,00 (€ 71.273,17).
