Auction result well in line with expectations
In October 2020 VAN HAM in Cologne held the auction From the Olbricht Collection - Part III | ONLINE ONLY, which included the work Ohne Titel (Affe mit Schädel). by Marianna Gartner. The price achieved of EUR 258.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 200.00 – 300.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Marianna Gartner achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work the Double Whammy in November 2012 with an auction result of EUR 41,650.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober 2020 führte VAN HAM in Köln die Auktion From the Olbricht Collection - Part III | ONLINE ONLY durch, in der auch die Arbeit Ohne Titel (Affe mit Schädel). von Marianna Gartner zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 258,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 200,00 – 300,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Marianna Gartner erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit the Double Whammy im November 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 41.650,00.
