This artwork by Marianna Gartner achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Amsterdam in September 2012. In the Property of the Scheringa Museum of Realist Art auction, the work Boy with bear sold for EUR 10,000.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 3,500.00. Admittedly, works by Marianna Gartner have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work the Double Whammy in November 2012 with an auction result of EUR 41,650.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Marianna Gartner erzielte im September 2012 bei Christies in Amsterdam einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Property of the Scheringa Museum of Realist Art wurde die Arbeit Boy with bear für EUR 10.000,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 3.500,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Marianna Gartner auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit the Double Whammy im November 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 41.650,00.
