Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Maria Szantho could be acquired at Christies in London in August 2014 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Christie's Interiors auction, the work Indecent exposure changed hands for GBP 750.00 (€ 945.91) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Maria Szantho achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Hungarian Dreaming Of Snow White And The Seven Dwarves in March 2009 with an auction result of GBP 15,000.00 (€ 16,175.25).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Maria Szantho konnte im August 2014 bei Christies in London für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Christie's Interiors wechselte die Arbeit Indecent exposure für GBP 750,00 (€ 945,91) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 1.000,00 – 1.500,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Maria Szantho erzielen.
