Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Le Porteur - 1950 by Maria Manton was auctioned at Artcurial in Paris in March 2020. The price achieved of EUR 1,040.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 800.00 – 1,200.00. Admittedly, works by Maria Manton have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Composition, 1951 in March 2010 with an auction result of EUR 6,375.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Le Porteur - 1950 von Maria Manton kam im März 2020 bei Artcurial in Paris zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 1.040,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 800,00 – 1.200,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Maria Manton auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Composition, 1951 im März 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 6.375,00.
