Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Maria Manton; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Composition, 1951 sold at auction in March 2010 with the realized price of EUR 6,375.00.

Die Arbeit L'Oiseau III, 1953 von Maria Manton kam im März 2010 bei Artcurial in Paris zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von EUR 3.570,00 und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 62 %. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Maria Manton; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Composition, 1951 im März 2010 mit dem Hammerpreis von EUR 6.375,00.
