Auction result misses estimated price range
In November 2006 a collector was able to acquire the work Meditations, Rottweiler Puppies by Maria Heskins for GBP 120.00 (€ 178.20). This price was achieved in the auction Sporting Art, Wildlife and Dogs at Christies in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 300.00 – 500.00 set by the auction house. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Maria Heskins - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work The Domino Effect, which sold at auction in June 2005 for GBP 324.00 (€ 480.19).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im November 2006 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Meditations, Rottweiler Puppies von Maria Heskins für GBP 120,00 (€ 178,20) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Sporting Art, Wildlife and Dogs bei Christies in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 300,00 – 500,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Maria Heskins mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit The Domino Effect beobachtet, die im Juni 2005 für GBP 324,00 (€ 480,19) versteigert wurde.
