Auction result misses estimated price range
In March 2007 a collector was able to acquire the work Waiting for you, an obedient German shepherd by Maria Heskins for GBP 84.00 (€ 123.64). This price was achieved in the auction British, Continental & Russian Pictures at Christies in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 300.00 – 500.00 set by the auction house. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Maria Heskins - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work The Domino Effect, which sold at auction in June 2005 for GBP 324.00 (€ 480.19).
