Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Sans titre by Maria Helena Vieira da Silva was sold in the Pierre Boulez Collection auction at Artcurial in Paris in June this year. The price achieved of EUR 9,184.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Maria Helena Vieira da Silva achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work L'Incendie I (The Fire I) in March 2018 with an auction result of GBP 2,048,750.00 (€ 2,332,614.96).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Sans titre von Maria Helena Vieira da Silva wurde im Juni diesen Jahres in der Auktion Pierre Boulez Collection bei Artcurial in Paris versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 9.184,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 8.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Maria Helena Vieira da Silva erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit L'Incendie I (The Fire I) im März 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 2.048.750,00 (€ 2.332.614,96).
