In June this year Artcurial in Paris held the auction Pierre Boulez Collection, which included the work Sans titre - 1953 by Maria Helena Vieira da Silva. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 20,992.00 75% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Maria Helena Vieira da Silva achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work L'Incendie I (The Fire I) in March 2018 with an auction result of GBP 2,048,750.00 (€ 2,332,614.96).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 75 % übertroffen
Im Juni diesen Jahres führte Artcurial in Paris die Auktion Pierre Boulez Collection durch, in der auch die Arbeit Sans titre - 1953 von Maria Helena Vieira da Silva zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 20.992,00 und damit 75% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Maria Helena Vieira da Silva erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit L'Incendie I (The Fire I) im März 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 2.048.750,00 (€ 2.332.614,96).
