Auction result well in line with expectations
In May this year Bonhams held the auction Prints & Photographs | Bonhams Skinner, which included the work Garden Flowers by Margaret Jordan Patterson. It changed hands for a price of USD 1,657.50 (€ 1,555.75) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 1,200.00 – 1,800.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Margaret Jordan Patterson - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work White Dogwood, which sold at auction in October this year for USD 5,715.00 (€ 5,407.83).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Mai diesen Jahres führte Bonhams die Auktion Prints & Photographs | Bonhams Skinner durch, in der auch die Arbeit Garden Flowers von Margaret Jordan Patterson zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von USD 1.657,50 (€ 1.555,75) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 1.200,00 – 1.800,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Margaret Jordan Patterson mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit White Dogwood beobachtet, die im Oktober diesen Jahres für USD 5.715,00 (€ 5.407,83) versteigert wurde.
