Auction result misses estimated price range
When the work Senza Titolo by Marco Tirelli was auctioned at Sothebys in Milan in November 2014, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of EUR 20,000.00 – 30,000.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for EUR 18,750.00. Other works by Marco Tirelli have also sold for higher prices; the highest price we have seen at auction so far was achieved in September 2017 by the work without title at GBP 27,500.00 (€ 31,199.10).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Als die Arbeit Senza Titolo von Marco Tirelli im November 2014 bei Sothebys in Mailand versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 20.000,00 – 30.000,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für EUR 18.750,00 den Besitzer. Andere Arbeiten von Marco Tirelli wurden auch schon teurer gehandelt; den höchsten Preis, den wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachten konnten, erzielte im September 2017 die Arbeit ohne Titel mit GBP 27.500,00 (€ 31.199,10).
