Auction result misses estimated price range
When the work Senza Titolo by Marco Tirelli was auctioned at Sothebys in Milan in May 2008, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of EUR 4,000.00 – 5,000.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for EUR 3,750.00. Admittedly, works by Marco Tirelli have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work without title in September 2017 with an auction result of GBP 27,500.00 (€ 31,199.10).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Als die Arbeit Senza Titolo von Marco Tirelli im Mai 2008 bei Sothebys in Mailand versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 4.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für EUR 3.750,00 den Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Marco Tirelli auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit ohne Titel im September 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 27.500,00 (€ 31.199,10).
