Admittedly, works by March Avery have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Karla Drawing in August last year with an auction result of USD 40,695.00 (€ 40,432.19).

Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 7.500,00 (€ 6.982,59) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 50%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von March Avery auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Karla Drawing im August letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 40.695,00 (€ 40.432,19).
