Auction result well in line with expectations
In July this year Bonhams held the auction Post-War & Contemporary Art Online, which included the work How Do You Like It (from series 34 Drawings) by Marcel Dzama. The price achieved of USD 1,152.00 (€ 1,045.37) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Marcel Dzama achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Later the Delights of Damnation Will be More Profound in July 2020 with an auction result of GBP 30,000.00 (€ 33,462.71).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juli diesen Jahres führte Bonhams die Auktion Post-War & Contemporary Art Online durch, in der auch die Arbeit How Do You Like It (from series 34 Drawings) von Marcel Dzama zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 1.152,00 (€ 1.045,37) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 1.000,00 – 1.500,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Marcel Dzama erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Later the Delights of Damnation Will be More Profound im Juli 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 30.000,00 (€ 33.462,71).
