Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Marcel Dyf achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in London in May last year. In the Modern Art Online including Works from the Collection of Marina Picasso auction, the work Roses sold for GBP 13,860.00 (€ 16,304.97) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 5,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Marcel Dyf - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Marché aux fleurs, which sold at auction in May last year for GBP 44,100.00 (€ 51,879.45).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Marcel Dyf erzielte im Mai letzten Jahres bei Sothebys in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Modern Art Online including Works from the Collection of Marina Picasso wurde die Arbeit Roses für GBP 13.860,00 (€ 16.304,97) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 5.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Marcel Dyf mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Marché aux fleurs beobachtet, die im Mai letzten Jahres für GBP 44.100,00 (€ 51.879,45) versteigert wurde.
