The »bidding war« ended at GBP 8,287.50 (€ 9,428.63), 66% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Marcel Dyf have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Marché aux fleurs in May last year with an auction result of GBP 44,100.00 (€ 51,879.45).

Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 8.287,50 (€ 9.428,63) und damit 66% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Marcel Dyf auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Marché aux fleurs im Mai letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 44.100,00 (€ 51.879,45).
