The work Myth Venus by Marc Quinn was auctioned at Christies in New York in May 2014. Here, the upper estimate of USD 1,200,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 1,325,000.00 (€ 971,407.62). With this result, Myth Venus is even the most expensive work of art by Marc Quinn that we have observed at auctions so far.
