This artwork by Marc Mulders achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Amsterdam in November 2011. In the Post-War and Contemporary Art auction, the work Zonnebloem nr IV sold for EUR 3,750.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 2,000.00. Admittedly, works by Marc Mulders have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Dutch Bleke Irissen Iii in March 2010 with an auction result of EUR 34,350.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um 88 % übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Marc Mulders erzielte im November 2011 bei Christies in Amsterdam einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Post-War and Contemporary Art wurde die Arbeit Zonnebloem nr IV für EUR 3.750,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 2.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Marc Mulders auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Dutch Bleke Irissen Iii im März 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 34.350,00.
