However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Marc Mulders - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Dutch Bleke Irissen Iii, which sold at auction in March 2010 for EUR 34,350.00.

Die Arbeit Papegaaitulpen (parrot tulips) von Marc Mulders kam im Mai 2012 bei Christies in Amsterdam zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von EUR 15.000,00 und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 25 %. Für andere Arbeiten von Marc Mulders mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Dutch Bleke Irissen Iii beobachtet, die im März 2010 für EUR 34.350,00 versteigert wurde.
