Auction result well in line with expectations
In March 2009 Artcurial in Paris held the auction Contemporary Art, which included the work Lune De Menthe A L'Orient, 1971 by Marc Janson. It changed hands for a price of EUR 893.00 achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of EUR 700.00 – 900.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Marc Janson - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Au Bruit Du Soleil/A Ces Palais Absents, Circa 1980, which sold at auction in March 2012 for EUR 1,802.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im März 2009 führte Artcurial in Paris die Auktion Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Lune De Menthe A L'Orient, 1971 von Marc Janson zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von EUR 893,00 den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 700,00 – 900,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Marc Janson mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Au Bruit Du Soleil/A Ces Palais Absents, Circa 1980 beobachtet, die im März 2012 für EUR 1.802,00 versteigert wurde.
