The work Composition by Marc Janson was sold in the Contemporary Art auction at Artcurial in March 2013. It achieved a price of EUR 193.00 exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 29 %. Admittedly, works by Marc Janson have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Au Bruit Du Soleil/A Ces Palais Absents, Circa 1980 in March 2012 with an auction result of EUR 1,802.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um 29 % übertroffen
Die Arbeit Composition von Marc Janson wurde im März 2013 in der Auktion Contemporary Art bei Artcurial versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von EUR 193,00 und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 29 %. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Marc Janson auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Au Bruit Du Soleil/A Ces Palais Absents, Circa 1980 im März 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 1.802,00.
