Auction result misses estimated price range
In March 2013 a collector was able to acquire the work Composition by Marc Janson for EUR 283.00. This price was achieved in the auction Contemporary Art at Artcurial and was even below the estimate range of EUR 400.00 – 500.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Marc Janson have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Au Bruit Du Soleil/A Ces Palais Absents, Circa 1980 in March 2012 with an auction result of EUR 1,802.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im März 2013 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Composition von Marc Janson für EUR 283,00 erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Contemporary Art bei Artcurial erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 400,00 – 500,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Marc Janson auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Au Bruit Du Soleil/A Ces Palais Absents, Circa 1980 im März 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 1.802,00.
