It achieved a price of CAD 39,000.00 (€ 28,421.62), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 30%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Marc-Aurèle de Foy Suzor-Côté - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Le Halage Du Bois, which sold at auction in December 2009 for CAD 106,000.00 (€ 70,698.72).

Die Arbeit Thatched Cottage And Landscape von Marc-Aurèle de Foy Suzor-Côté wurde im November 2011 in der Auktion Important Canadian Art bei Sothebys in Toronto versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von CAD 39.000,00 (€ 28.421,62) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 30%. Für andere Arbeiten von Marc-Aurèle de Foy Suzor-Côté mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Le Halage Du Bois beobachtet, die im Dezember 2009 für CAD 106.000,00 (€ 70.698,72) versteigert wurde.
