Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Portrait Of J.G. Poisson by Marc-Aurèle de Foy Suzor-Côté was auctioned at Sothebys in Toronto in June 2010. The price achieved of CAD 22,800.00 (€ 17,489.09) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as CAD 20,000.00 – 30,000.00. Admittedly, works by Marc-Aurèle de Foy Suzor-Côté have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Le Halage Du Bois in December 2009 with an auction result of CAD 106,000.00 (€ 70,698.72).

Die Arbeit Portrait Of J.G. Poisson von Marc-Aurèle de Foy Suzor-Côté kam im Juni 2010 bei Sothebys in Toronto zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von CAD 22.800,00 (€ 17.489,09) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit CAD 20.000,00 – 30.000,00 angegeben worden.
