Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Andy by Mao Yan was sold in the 20th and 21st Century Art Afternoon Session auction at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2021. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 800,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 875,000.00 (€ 92,494.26). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Mao Yan achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Standing Youth in April 2016 with an auction result of HKD 9,440,000.00 (€ 1,063,557.38).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Andy von Mao Yan wurde im Mai 2021 in der Auktion 20th and 21st Century Art Afternoon Session bei Christies in Hong Kong versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 800.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 875.000,00 (€ 92.494,26) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Mao Yan erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Standing Youth im April 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 9.440.000,00 (€ 1.063.557,38).
