Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Chicanos by Manuel Serrano was sold in the Old Master & 19th Century Art auction at Artcurial in Paris in November 2021. Here, the upper estimate of EUR 15,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 15,600.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Manuel Serrano achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Escena De Venta in November 2016 with an auction result of USD 168,750.00 (€ 159,529.21).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Chicanos von Manuel Serrano wurde im November 2021 in der Auktion Old Master & 19th Century Art bei Artcurial in Paris versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von EUR 15.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 15.600,00 einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Manuel Serrano erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Escena De Venta im November 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 168.750,00 (€ 159.529,21).
