The work Nu, Circa 1916 by Manuel Ortiz de Zárate was sold in the Modern Art 2 auction at Artcurial in Paris in April 2008. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 40,894.00 36% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Manuel Ortiz de Zárate - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Nature Morte Au Pot A Tabac, 1916, which sold at auction in October 2006 for EUR 123,322.00.

Die Arbeit Nu, Circa 1916 von Manuel Ortiz de Zárate wurde im April 2008 in der Auktion Modern Art 2 bei Artcurial in Paris versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 40.894,00 und damit 36% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Manuel Ortiz de Zárate mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Nature Morte Au Pot A Tabac, 1916 beobachtet, die im Oktober 2006 für EUR 123.322,00 versteigert wurde.
