Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In January 2007 Christies in New York held the auction The House Sale, which included the work Fraternite Rex by Manuel Ocampo. Here, the upper estimate of USD 3,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 3,360.00 (€ 2,585.01). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Manuel Ocampo achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Los Comicos Ambulantes in December last year with an auction result of USD 32,760.00 (€ 30,622.55).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Januar 2007 führte Christies in New York die Auktion The House Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Fraternite Rex von Manuel Ocampo zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 3.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 3.360,00 (€ 2.585,01) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Manuel Ocampo erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Los Comicos Ambulantes im Dezember letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 32.760,00 (€ 30.622,55).
