This work without title by Manuel Mendive was auctioned at Bonhams in February this year. It achieved a price of USD 25,500.00 (€ 24,052.07), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 70%. Admittedly, works by Manuel Mendive have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Energías para el amor y la bondad in May 2017 with an auction result of USD 125,000.00 (€ 111,249.56).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 70 % übertroffen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Manuel Mendive kam im Februar diesen Jahres bei Bonhams zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 25.500,00 (€ 24.052,07) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 70%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Manuel Mendive auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Energías para el amor y la bondad im Mai 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 125.000,00 (€ 111.249,56).
