Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Manuel Felguérez could be acquired at Sothebys in New York in May 2011 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Latin American Art auction, the work Anatomía Del Fuego changed hands for USD 5,938.00 (€ 4,130.50) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Manuel Felguérez achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work without title in November 2020 with an auction result of USD 212,500.00 (€ 177,854.03).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Manuel Felguérez konnte im Mai 2011 bei Sothebys in New York für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Manuel Felguérez erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit ohne Titel im November 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 212.500,00 (€ 177.854,03).
