Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Óleo Blanco No. 17 by Manuel Felguérez was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in May 2008. It changed hands for a price of USD 13,750.00 (€ 8,836.76) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Manuel Felguérez achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work without title in November 2020 with an auction result of USD 212,500.00 (€ 177,854.03).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Óleo Blanco No. 17 von Manuel Felguérez kam im Mai 2008 bei Sothebys in New York zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von USD 13.750,00 (€ 8.836,76) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 10.000,00 – 15.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Manuel Felguérez erzielen.
