Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In October 2020 Sothebys in London held the auction 20th Century Art / Middle East, which included this untitled work by Manoucher Yektai. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 30,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 32,760.00 (€ 36,377.19). Admittedly, works by Manoucher Yektai have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Still Life in May this year with an auction result of GBP 165,500.00 (€ 192,560.35).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Oktober 2020 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion 20th Century Art / Middle East durch, in der auch diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Manoucher Yektai zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 30.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 32.760,00 (€ 36.377,19) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Manoucher Yektai auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Still Life im Mai diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 165.500,00 (€ 192.560,35).
